What is Indian head massage?

Indian head massage, also known as Champissage, is a gentle therapy based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system

Who can benefit from Indian head massage?

Anyone affected by symptoms of stress, be they muscular tension in the head, neck and shoulders, anxiety, lack of concentration or lack of sleep to name but a few.

However, you do not need to be affected by a particular ailment to have a treatment. If you are well, help yourself keep well!

How long will a session last?

I usually allow one hour (a little longer on your first visit) from the moment you come in to the moment you leave but the actual treatment lasts forty-five to fifty minutes.

What will happen during a session?

On the first visit, I will ask you a variety of questions on your present and past health and your lifestyle.

The treatment involves the massaging of the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp, face and ears. No oil is used.

There is no need to remove any clothing and the treatment is received whilst sitting in a chair.

 How much does it cost?

One treatment costs £45 and a course of six treatments cost £230. You have up to one year to use those treatments.

How many treatments will you need?

This will be discussed at the end of your first treatment and will be totally dependent on your reasons for coming.
