What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray - key) is a simple healing method which is believed to strenghten the body's ability to heal itself.

Who can benefit from Reiki?
Most people can benefit from reiki because it is a method used for activating the healing powers of the body and helping it to maintain or restore its own healthy balance.

More and more people are using Reiki as a tool to bring relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

However, you do not need to be affected by a particular ailment to have a treatment. If you are well, keep well!

What will happen during a treatment?
On the first visit, I will ask you a variety of questions on your present and past health and your lifestyle.

Then after having asked you to take your shoes off and make yourself comfortable on the therapy couch (or sit on a chair if this is more comfortable for you), I will proceed with the treatment session.

The treatment usually lasts about one hour and consists of placing my hands hands on or near your body in a series of hand positions. Each position is usually held for about five minutes but this may vary according to your needs at the time. During the treatment you may experience various physical sensations such as tingling, warmth, cold. You may also see colours.

How much will it cost?
One treatment costs £35 and a course of six treatments, which can be taken over the course of a year, costs £180 (£30 a treatment)

How many treatments will you need?
This will be discussed at the end of your first treatment and will be dependent on you and your body’s needs.
